Jim Whitehurst
Vice President of Sales
Jim Whitehurst joined Halfpenny Technologies with over 25 years of experience in the industry, selling highly-complex laboratory, revenue cycle, document imaging and web portal solutions to both commercial and outreach laboratory marketplaces. In his role as Vice President of Sales at Halfpenny, he is responsible for all sales and new business development activities in the Southeast and Southwest of the U.S. Prior to Halfpenny, Whitehurst worked 13 years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Seacoast Laboratory Data Systems, Inc. where he sold software solutions and services that were developed and engineered specifically for the commercial laboratories. Before this position, Whitehurst was president and owner of Pro-Med Personnel Services, Inc., a firm that specialized in the temporary and permanent placement of laboratory and health care professionals nationwide. Whitehurst has a medical technology degree from St. Petersburg College and took additional study work at the University of South Florida.
