Interfacing to the practice management system in a physician office is one of the most
challenging aspects of laboratory order and result automation. This is mostly the legacy
of the large number of vendors providing physician office practice management systems and

systems have an open interface capability.

physician office management systems for use by other laboratory order entry systems.
