As Senior Vice President of Clinical Data Services at Halfpenny Technologies, Joyce Compton manages a staff of medical technologists and other clinicians who support Halfpenny’s comprehensive offering of test code dictionary management, LOINC mapping and medical necessity applications. A cofounder of Halfpenny Technologies, Compton previously managed support services and quality assurance at West Virginia University (WVU) Hospitals. She has also served as an inspector for the College of American Pathologists and is an adjunct assistant professor at WVU School of Medicine. Her clinical domain expertise, along with 12 years of deploying and supporting health information technology solutions, provides a unique perspective that sets Halfpenny’s solutions apart from the competition.
